Clearwater Lake
Created as a result of a flood control project on the Black River in 1948, Clearwater Lake, the "Gem of the Ozarks," offers recreation for the entire family. Visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, water skiing, a nice quiet pontoon ride, or a float trip down the Black River.

The Lake has five main recreation areas:
Bluff View Park
Piedmont Park
Webb Creek Park
River Road Park
Highway K Park

The parks offers campsites, swim beaches, boat ramps, play grounds, marinas and nature trails.

Camping
There are 365 campsites, numerous picnic sites, five developed recreational areas, three swim areas, and one group camp area.

Fishing
Fishing is available year round at Clearwater Lake. In the Lake, anglers will find bluegill, sunfish, catfish, largemouth bass, white bass, spotted bass, carp and crappie. There are also walleye found below Clearwater Dam in the Black River.

Trails
There are three nature trails in the area, and there are 10 miles of hiking trails.
