Hunters visiting the Wayne County area will discover that the woods surrounding our area are filled with a wide variety of game. During the many different hunting seasons,you can pursue deer, squirrels, rabbits and turkey. As our deer population increases every year, the number of deer killed has increased also. Wayne County now ranks in the top 15 for most deer killed in season.

Time spent on our waterways is not complete unless you spend a little time out there fishing. We have some of the best fishing in the Midwest. Pull up a seat, grab you a pole and see what you can catch. Our lakes and rivers are overloaded with black crappie, bluegill, chain pickerel, channel catfish, common carp and flathead catfish. If you are a bass lover, there is an array of largemouth bass, spotted bass and white bass. Your time spent on our waterways will be a wonderful experience for the whole family.
